Welcome to EuroPride 2018 in Gothenburg 14/8-19/8!
Gothenburg is famous for turning into a rainbow city during Pride week. All around the city there will be Pride hubs and pop ups where EuroPride visitors can meet and take part of different events.
EuroPride in Gothenburg will take place at the same time as The Gothenburg Culture Festival – Göteborgs kulturkalas, the biggest culture event in Scandinavia with around 1 300 events and 1.5 million visits all over the city. So, in Gothenburg during EuroPride you will have a busy week! The program will be found here.
In Gothenburg, there is no entrance fee to the EuroPride Park and the EuroPride House.
EuroPride 2018 in Gothenburg will be hosted by West Pride, Swedens second largest pridefestival. More information about West Pride can be found here.

EuroPride House 14/8-19/8
Located at different venues in the area around Götaplatsen, The EuroPride House will host around 200 events in the form of seminars, workshops and debates. There is no entrance fee. The program som far will be found here.
EuroPride Park 14/8-19/8
The EuroPride Park Gothenburg will be hosted at Kungstorget, one of the largest squares in the city-center. The EuroPride Park in Gothenburg has no entrance fee and is open to everyone.
Visitors can engage with community exhibitors, mingle, enjoy good food and drinks and listen to great music from the big stage. The park will also host a youth area with open activities.

EuroPride Parade 18/8
The closing parade will be a feast of colors throughout the parade street, “Avenyn”, ending with a spectacular show and international star on a huge stage on Götaplatsen, the biggest square in Gothenburg with a capacity of 80 000 spectators.

GOTHENBURG. Even before Mashrou’ Leila enter the stage you can hear the crowd cheering, and when singer Hamed Sinno walks on, dressed in a simple black t-shirt, silver shorts, tights and sneakers we are all screaming.
GOTHENBURG. ”Proud trams” is Västtrafik’s tribute to EuroPride. A rolling art manifestation where artists have painted six trams in the colours of the rainbow.
GOTHENBURG. “Feel some anger. If anger does not strengthen you, try fear. If that does not work, try panic. YELL IT OUT!”
GOTHENBURG. Finn Hellman provided a historical flashback to Swedens musical treasures with LGBT themes up until 1980.
