Welcome to EuroPride 2018 in Stockholm 27/7-5/8!

All around the city there will be Pride hubs and pop ups where EuroPride visitors can meet and take part of different events. Last year there were over 600 programs items – events at Pride House, Pride Park, museums, clubs, lgbt organisations, etc.

We expect there will be more events and activities this summer all over the city including sports, activities for families and Stockholm sights. The program som far will be found here.

In Stockholm EuroPride will be hosted by Stockholm Pride, the largest pridefestival in Scandinavia. More information about Stockholm Pride will be found here.

Stockholm – The Open City!

Stockholm, the Swedish capital, is famous for its closeness to nature, booming tech-scene, gender-fluid fashion, colorful LGBT community and the Nobel prize. The one thing that really makes the city stand out internationally is its progressive values: Stockholm is a city for all. Read more about Stockholm Open City here.

Stockholm is by many considered to be one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Its beauty is a result of its magnificent location, built on 14 islands and right where the inland lake flow into the sea, right in the spectacular Stockholm Archipelago.

It’s a harmonic blend of old and new, where ultra-modern and medieval architecture happily coexist. You can take a walk among the narrow, cobblestoned streets of the Old Town and feel the living presence of history all around. Read more about Stockholm here.

Stockholm is blessed with a pantheon of outstanding hotels, all brimming with Scandinavian warmth and style, and just waiting to welcome you. With over 30 100 hotel rooms and 294 hotels to choose from in Greater Stockholm, you are able to find exactly what you’re looking for. Hip designer cool, homespun family charm, extravagant luxury, or just something that rocks gently on the water.

There are 40 hotels with over 6 900 hotel rooms within a 10 minute walk of Central Station. Stockholm’s mid-range hotels are well known for their high standard and room rates in hotels generally include breakfast.

Alternative Accomodation

A youth hostel can be an economical alternative. In the City of Stockholm there are 26 hostels with more than 2 700 rooms. Most of Stockholm’s youth hostels maintain a very high standard. Perhaps you would like to spend the night in a dormitory and prepare your own meals to keep costs down.

If, on the other hand, you would prefer a more comfortable alternative and are prepared to pay a little more, you can rent a single or a double room. It is also possible to rent an apartment, a room in a Bed and Breakfast or why not rent a cottages or camp at a campsite.
